About the company

Job summary
Structural, mechanical or marine engineer focused on heavy lift engineering.
Responsibilities:

Participating in the engineering of offshore decommissioning projects from concept to detailed design within the inhouse engineering team

Perform basic and detailed structural design of offshore structures and/or equipment

Modelling and drafting in 2D and 3D (AutoCAD, Inventor and Cadmatic)

Prepare design calculation reports

Define scope of work, design specifications for subcontractors and review of their drawings

Supporting the Operations, Projects and Wells and P&A team.
Skills:
-
Finite element method analysis focusing on local structural analysis
-
Local structural analysis e.g. standard lift points and bolted connections
-
General knowledge of the offshore/maritime industry and basic knowledge of heavy lift operations, engineering and marine operations

2D and 3D drafting e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor, Cadmatic

MS Office
-
Good command of English both verbal and written

Execute own task independently within a team
- Location: NL (Hoofddorp) with trips to site, client and suppliers
- Type of contract: Local
- Education: Bachelor of mechanical engineering, offshore engineering, naval architecture or civil engineering specialized in costal engineering.
- 1-4 years (applicable) experience in offshore or maritime industry in a similar job
- Team player, autonomous, flexible and eager to contribute
